Maybe vw was conning every1 an its really a 1.8 8v, well with the power it produces it makes more sense

To be fair the 16v bay is full of inlet manifold!

Since the 2.0 8v makes similar power to the mk2 8v and nobody mocks them.

well thanx for all the pic's that have been posted guy's some good looking bays there so went out and tackeled mine today. at 1st sites of my bay i thought there was no hope but now i see light at end of tunell lol. before and after pic's below. my next task is to spray rocker cover but what colour? im thinking gloss black or white.
