Bought a set of Detail Guardz to stop that pita of pressure wash hose getting caught under wheels.

I’ll be interested to hear how you get on with them Rebecca. I’ve been thinking of getting a set as it’s something that I find really irritating.

Yeah I’ll report back.  It’s one of those things that’s part and parcel of car washing but is actually really annoying.  For the price these are worth a punt.  Will let you know.

Washed the winter muck off.

Annoyingly the Detail Guardz are turning up later today but I only had time to clean it the car this morning. But I’ve kept the pressure washer out so I can test it when they are delivered, to see if they really do work.

Not Golf related but VAG... Picked up a '15 plate RS3 on Friday that was in need of some attention... When I washed there was a not a single bit of water beading.. 

Carried out snow foam pre-wash, 2 bucket wash (with some Gtechniq wash), clay bar (the car was very contaminated), single stage machine polish, panel wipe then coat of Polish Angel Master Sealant (ceramic coat). Glass was cleaned and sealed, tyres dressed and the exhausts received some much need work - it was like they hadn't been cleaned more than once!
