because they arent very good, particularly on an engine with known heat issues like a g60

Like the car, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!

The exhaust looks good I think, when I was getting mine fitted I saw the 9x4.5 inch plain flat oval one....now that was too big!

Thought about having one that flicks up but the Scirocco's bodykit and actual metal body make a funny angle for the exhaust and it didn't look right

Thanks, i do want to make some adjustments to it as i personally think it sticks out a little too much so want to shorten it so that the upswep sits nice up to the bumper but not too close to start melting the bumper. Also noticed that it sometimes sit at a very very slight angle, you would have to stand back to notice it and propably if i said something too but i want to look at getting a bracket mounted on the otherside to make it sit properly as it only has the one bracket on it.
Need to get down to my mates really and when i get the center section fitted will look at getting this done too

Fitting my new discs tomorrow so will take some more photos and get them posted on here. Want to get some new pads and been speaking to Liam and he is running green stuff pads which he had recommended but just wanted to know what everyone else thinks and what other performance pad peeps recommend, remember i am on a budget so cheaper would be good

So today has been a prductive day and i have had some really good news, firstly i was asked by college to bring my car in to fit the new discs as they had an open day and wanted myself and Shoozy to fit the new breaks whilst new peeps where looking around. Not only this but they also said that they had invited a load of garage techs and boss to come and see what the college and pupils are like in the potential to take some of us on for jobs or apprenticships. Well the basic of it is that a garage in Louth who are VW performance specialist where very impressed with my car and haow much we knew about the vw side of stuff that they have asked for me and Shoozy to come and work for them for a month
Before we knew it we had been chatting about my car and what there set up is like etc etc and 45 mins had passed, if left to it i think we would have been there all night  They even said that one of the guys who works for them use to have a mk2 Limited which apparently was the R32 of those days, 16v G60 syncro running 280bhp and was very very rare, also said that they have sold it now for 14K
Anyway i aswell as Shoozy are very very happy chaps, roll on Feb
Back to the pics now, basically we managed to fully valet my car today and fit the new front breaks but not the rears as didnt have time . So i will let the pics tell their own story but very happy with them, o yeah ignore my mates car (Chaved Almera) Only in there as we valeted his car too.

This is for Liam

Added a few decals to make it stand out a little.
One of these on each side of the car

Just one of these

Ok and now to the breaks.
Old disc where shot as you can see

New ones  Shiny

Shoozy helping fit the otherside, that is how he normally looks by the way

With the wheels back on, you can sort of make them out

Going to do the rear breaks on Thursday when we are in the workshop all day so will post more pics up then.
Hope you like the progress  And thanks Shoozy for your help mate, shame that bloody caliper bolt snapped and putting us back a bit on time otherwise the rears would have got done
