Right Well, I Bought My Golf In July Last Year (£200 Off Ebay), The Power steering didn't work, It was hard work driving it home, When we got it back to my mates yard we found the power steering pump was being retained by a cable tie!!!!! If i'd seen it i would not have driven it!
Onto the good bits, It had a full set of coilovers, Even though all the bushes were perished to hell!
And i suspect it has a 2l Bottom End

More Bad Bits:
Leaks!!!!! Rear lights Wet Boot Floor Now Fixed with contact adhesive and silicone!
Sunroof, Inner seal Missing, Outer seal 2 inches missing (Repaired with Ducktape at the moment, Til i find a new metal panel!)
No Parcel Shelf (ClubGTI £5)
Suspect Starter Motor
Dodgy Tyres (Whoever owned it before liked handbrake turns) They looked like Well used slicks!
The person who had it before never had heard of a socket set, It looks like they had used mole grips for everything (Most bolts i have come across needed replacing!

I will upload my many pictures a bit later when i have my photobucket sorted out!

Major change of plans, 2.9 VR6 soon to be inserted, for the princely sum of £300
So expect a full write up on the conversion
