BP drive in car wash any good?

is it a crime to use a BP carwash i have a token for a free carwash in there but not sure wether do commit the sin or not or just clean it by hand and throw away the token!

if you don't give a damn about the value of your car and don't care about swirl marks and scratches on your car then by all means use the car wash...

i personally think you are opening yourself up to a complete flaming asking this question in a detailing section

no no no!!!! big no no, a sure way to damage your paint.

my advise would be to have a look at a car thats been detailed and washed the correct way and take a look at a car thats been wash by a machine thats cleaned thousands of cars with the same brushes that have grit and god knows what else lurking in them and you'll see difference :wink:

amazing at what? scratching cars... fact is a mechanised car wash will never be any good for a cars paintwork

True and niether will the dudes who walk round the super market car parks and ask if you would like your car washed, I mean scratched by a sponge full of gravel  :rolleyes:
