as sum of you no got my car back on the road this week and was all goin gr8 until this mornig on the way 2 work car lost all power and cut out when trying to start up it will only work if you floor the gas and when it does start up sound s##t like missfire and dies again only just had engine fitted any ideas lads :nerd:?thanks ps for sale soon a broken gti :cry:

Stick with it m8! Trust me when your AGU is running spot on and once I have remapped it you will be over the moon with it.   Its always, coil packs, MAF, TB, Vacuum / Boost leaks, Coolant temp sensors, or N75. Once your have it running right you should not have any issuesjust big grins. :smug:.

temp sender you say?i hasnt been run at proper temp since i got it back runing to cold but it was still runing good

Probs worth a try as they're only a few quid on ebay although reading again i think you're looking at coils or something, can't you transfer over from your old engine.

its was runing abit bad when i got it bk so already swopd coils didnt help the maf then it was fine

Ry swapping the coils over again, if you've got another engine sitting next to you just keep trnsfering things till it works...
