My insurance is up at the end of the month. Direct line are always cheapest for me. Still, I tried a few other companies, but no one came close to my renewal price.

I still phoned Direct Line to say I could get it cheaper than what they were quoting. They knocked £75 off the price on the phone instantly so I can't complain really.

£320 fully comp, 25, 7 years ncb. I'm nit running any engine mods though.

Just phone and ask if that's thier best price. I think a lot of insurers rely on people just accepting thier renewals. St the end of the day, they can only say it is thier best price.

Just spoke to them on the phone.  They won't insure me, more than a 25% increase in BHP is an automatic decline   Directline want over £600 without ANY mods!

So far the only company that have been able to give me a quote are HIC.  Typical.

Brentacre. I know they wanted more than I paid but there policy looked good, unlimited mods (up to a certain BHP)
