Am i missing a bracket
« on: 13 March 2009, 22:57 »
Whilst fixing my boost leak it was found that my red pipe form the turbo to the intercooler is rubbing nicely against my driveshaft

is there supposed to be a bracket holding it in position??

well annoying i've lost the bracket from the old pancake but it was evident that the pipe has been rubbing for a while so that bracket did very little

i know i'm missing one from the pancake pipe cos usefully Forge didn't put a bracket on the new pipe - they've relocated it to the front

and it looks like the pipe had been rubbing previously to the new pancake pipe being fitted

cheers for the pic Steve :afro:

Steve

do you have a clip or bracket holding the red turbo pipe away from the driveshaft??

looking at mine it seems to have been rubbing for a while.......

No, couldn't see anything, only the bracket on the pancake pipe
