Slow throttle Response

any help would be very useful please .....

recently when i press the accelerator pedal, although it works, i'm getting little to no power when i press hard on the pedal. the accelerator pedal is close to the floor there's no room in between which means i cant regulate how fast i go i have to wait atleast a minute before i get to 30mph.

Car : golf TDi MK5 2008

Sounds like it is in limp mode mate. Have it scanned at a local VW specialist garage and see what comes back

I had a problem in a t5 transporter. It was a faulty throttle.
