I think it will be very quick as its been in the making for 8years!

But how many times have the rules and specifications the cars have to match changed in the last 8 years! I am willing to eat my hat, but I think it is most likely to be operating as a mobile chicane for the front runners me thinks.

if you compare it to something like the Mclaren and Ferrari 2010 cars you can see the sophistication in the aero packages. Both cars have been quick in tests so far.

The Lotus aero package seems to be fairly rudimentary compared to Ferrari and Mclarens.

hmmm i think you will suprised. I mean i could be wrong but just from lotus in the past they built very good cars, i dont think there going to make a comeback into F1 to be last and with there two drivers sign almost a soon as the return announcement i think there going to be a good solid team.

Yes the mclaren looks brilliant for aero i do have to say, personally im a Mclaren fan through and through, have been since i was about 3!
My moneys still on Hamilton for the season...

this lotus team has nothing to do (personnel wise) with the lotus team of old. Totally new people involved. Only Lotus in name.

I agree that the new boys will find it difficult to make a good car on the first go.

The Lotus of old had quite an advantage in their time. His name was Colin Chapman.
