Do the vw mats from the 7/7-5 fit the 8?

They have a different part number, so may be different, although the difference could just be something like the pattern of the rubber surface on the mats. Part numbers from the price and spec brochures for the mk8 and mk7.5;

Mk8 part numbers
Fronts; 5H206150282V
Rears; 5H006151282V

Mk7.5 part numbers
Fronts; 5G2061502A82V
Rears; 5G0061512A82V

Thanks. Don’t really want to fork out £100 for mats if I can use the ones for the 7.5.  :nerd:
Might just wait until it arrives and see if they fit  then

My summer mats from my 7 fit perfectly in my 8

Agreed.
The floor mats, boot liner and alu footrest from a 7/7.5 all fit perfectly.
Anybody would think it wasn’t an all new model...

Just found these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133733052254

And they do a boot mat.

I am on building sites 2-3 times a week so have to have rubber mats

Have a look at a set of Weathertech's they get serious envy when i'm on site, something I never expected.
