Personally looks wise it's horrible but mostly reversible!
142K miles on an S reg I'd want to be paying less TBH.
Got too many doors aswell.

With the bits you'd need to put it right (new rear lights) says he'll include the original front light, i'd offer him £1500. Although you need to see it as the bodywork may be really rough...also have to cehck all the usual bits
-
and you may get back some money from the private plate too!
-
thats it 1500 max my 2001 only cost 2100 less miles and things to change back keep looking lots of good deals around try the bay.
-
surely there's plenty more original/ genuine cars out there for £2000, with lower miles???
-
Buy it and burn the wheels, i see more mk4's with those wheels than standard ones
Seems looked after but is abit high for the mileage! Im sure there are better out there! Whats your budget?
-
I'd say it's worth about £1500
-
budget is 2500 dnt really wont to travel to far but i mite have to if nothin comes up

I've never seen an AGN, but I'd hazard a guess & say yes, because I can't make out a DV. (Unless it's just hidden by the cover, LOL!!). :D
-
Cover don't say turbo either
-
That one on piston heads is a non turbo 1.8 20v
-
1600 he will take give me alot more money to spend on it what do you guys think

Worth checking for service history, but as long as it's in decent condition then i'd buy it if i were you. 140k on a 10 year old car isn't that bad really, only works out at 14k a year
