I run black and silver plates, the law here in Guernsey says you can have a silver/black front one but not a rear one but EVERYONE on the island has two blacks and the police don't do a thing.

I've got black/silver number plates on my camper and I don't care if the cops stop me in that, mainly because they are on there legally ! :grin:

As you know Mick I ran them on my Mk 2 Polo Saloon. Didnt have any grief in the three weeks I owned it with them on.

I read in the metro this morning that as of today, there's a big crackdown on it, up to a grand in fines  :undecided:

german style plates lasted 6 months and got a fine last week. now fully legal again!

did you have the 'D' sign? i have had my pressed plates on a month and been past several traffic cars and had no problems but i have GB on mine and they are uk font and re-reflect  :undecided:

Sooo that'll be just over a month then  :rolleyes: Staffordshires finest pulled just after leaving the M6 for Dubfreeze this morning,got a vehicle defect cert,but no fine  :wink:
