insurance is a rape, im payin £1500, Fully Comp, to insure my 2001 polo 1.4 16v with quite a few mods, im 19 with 3 point for speeding and 0 NCD. thats with Admiral, they were the only ppl that wood insure me, most sed i cant have a modded car at 19

to insure my MK2 GTI, bog standard, is £1700 on TPFT

Says it all, your 19 with a modded car, you got done for speeding..... so your not the safest driver.... have 0NCD so you havnt kept a policy long. and £1500 fully comp isnt bad, you should be happy!

agreed...thats a good quote for ur position...

Yeah, everyones case is different, but in the end, the computer infront of the person on the phone dont give 2 $h1ts LOL! They are reasons to charge you more, as they want to get all your money! :D

Just to show you roughly the difference between a 25yr old and 17yr old's insurance...

I passed my licence 31 Oct 2007 got my first car 10th November, turned 25 on 11th November and insured 11th November (yes I know I was a late starter but never needed a car before I had a baby!)
£796 on a MK 2 Driver

Dec on the other hand is 17 passed his licence on 7th December (or something like that) and pays £1800 for the same year & model car

Gotta love being 25

I can sleep with younger girls without police knockin on the door

But agreed, age is such a joke with insurance. I only crash on weekends!

That pretty good, it is probably the area you live in as well that brings the price down so much for a new driver and a beast of a car.
