Advice - poss moving to France for 6 months
« on: 27 May 2010, 07:32 »
How would this work? I'd like to keep it with my current insurers so I can get a NCB, so could I do a change of address of where the car is being kept?

What are you asking? Are you leaving the car at home or taking it to France? You will need to inform your insurers about using it in France for so long so the likelihood is they won't insure it abroad for more than 30 days in any 1 year without a big premium increase.

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

That's what I mean, I'll be moving to france for the winter to snowboard, but need to take my car, so would I just need to do a change of address with my insurers, or look at going with a french company
