HOW TO: changing a radiator :)
« on: 20 August 2010, 20:32 »
hello guys and girls ;)

here is easy step by step guide (with pics) on how to change a radiator...

step 1

open bonnet and relase the clips holding on grill...

step 2 (bumper)

un-clip indicator, covers and fog lights if fitted.

undo the 8 10 or 13mm nuts holding on bumper.

pop 2 clips in wheel arch both sides and the bumper should just slide off:)

undo 4 13mm bolt holding on bumper bracket.

step 3 rad it self.

now u have bumper out the way the rest is simple.

take off both water pipes and un-clip water sensor.

both sides of the fan housing you will find 2 10mm bolts holding the rad in place un do these 4 bolts

the rad will just come out the front of the car happerily.

just read guide backwords to put car back together.

should take 30/40mins

hope this helps
