My Osram dynamic indicators arrived today, so fitted them while waiting for the sun to go down so I can wash the car. I also hit 28k miles on my mk5 and fitted a new battery to it.

It's a subtle difference, pleased though? I haven't ordered mine yet, I'm thinking is it worth changing when I'm never going to see them?

Very pleased, it's massive difference in the evenings but it was more the tint I was after. You'd see them when you unlock the car with the key.

Good point, thanks. I'll authorise my executive shopping assistant to proceed with the purchase

£80 is extortionate. I paid about £40 for mine from AliExpress, and they look the exact same. (I'd wager they are the same and one is rebranded, but that's me being cynical)

The AliExpress ones have a texture to them so look like the plastic on the sideskirts, the Osram are smooth like the OEM with a tinted and a normal version being offered. Volkswagen had also offered the Osram ones briefly as an OEM accessory from memory. As well as the Osrams are much brighter than both the originals and the chinese copies.

Not everyone will appreciate the subtle differences but I'd rather have a product from a well-known company who's business is producing lighting products as well as being able to provide ECE approval with a 5 year warranty.

Same principle as the golf really why pay more for a golf when a cupra is the same car for less?

Fitted intake pipe and turbo elbow. Got them cheap off a mate, so nothing really lost if they find add anything!

I guess I would have to see them in person. I would never have described mine as "textured", but I can kind of see what you mean. They are tinted and much brighter than the standard ones though.
