Title: Plug & Play

Hi All,
Bought my first ever VW today. A pre-registered but otherwise new MK7 GTi with lots of VW options. It doesn't have the Dynaudio sound system but does have the 'plug and play' sound system. This seems to be a big speaker in the boot where the spare wheel normally goes. The dealer was a little vague about what this system actually does and the VW website isn't much help either. Can anyone shed any light on this ?

It's in the accessories brochure on the VW website. It's much like the Infiniti Basslink launched many a year ago.
