if the problem still lies in aerodynamics why did they make the front tyres narrower? surely the answer is more mechanical grip and less aero?

I can't see things getting much better until the huge changes in 2013.

Am interested in what these changes are. I have googled it but can't find anything

knowing my luck I will watch about 3 or 4 ultra boring GP's and then give up... only to read a write up of the one I miss as being one of the most exciting of all time...

so the question is... do i give up now?
or watch an entire season of dull GP's?

Guy the first race is often an anti climax and bahrain was always going to be a bit poo as it's a rubbish circuit for visualy thrills and close racing. There were a few dull races last year but there were a few crackers as well.

Mind you if you want to watch close motorsport BTCC kicks off on 4th April at Thruxton (Full coverage on ITV 3 or 4) and there's [shameless plug] the forum meet up at Brands for the Golf GTI Champ and Production BMW cup on the 28th March http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=139778.0 [/shamless plug]

Martin Brundle summs it up well I think

"Many football matches are scoreless draws, and five-day cricket Test matches end in draws, too. Similarly, we have been spoiled these past couple of years - not all F1 races can be classics.
Keep the faith - F1 can sort it, especially if Mercedes and McLaren can get themselves on the pace of Red Bull and Ferrari."

was a bit disapointed with it but at the end of the day it wasnt the best circuit, the teams have alot to know and testing was very unprdictable  :undecided:

Should definitely pick up in a few races, well as soon as schumacer get used to the car and back to his old self

More than happy with that result! Great drive by Button! Looks like looking after tyres comes in handy.

Shame that Hamilton was being a bit of a brat after the race.
