GTD looks bland
« on: 04 June 2010, 16:25 »
I walked past a parked GTD this morning while taking the kids to l'école. I noticed it because it was exactly the same spec' as my GTI: 5-door, carbon grey, cloth seats, etc. but it looked so dull and bland without the red bits (front grill inserts & cloth seats). They are such small additions, but boy, do they make a difference!

Deep inside their hearts, they know it's true.  :lipsrsealed:
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Don't be silly - seems to be mostly one way!  As a GTD owner I'd mostly agree with you...it is all relative though, GTD is hardly a SEAT is it?

Absolute nonsense. And you know it.
Stop being so attention grabbing.
You must be so bored.
As for the red lipstick on the GTi, some say it looks cheap and tarty!

I think the GTD looks classier than the GTI thanks to the lack of the red stripes. However, I'm afraid the class goes straight out the window the moment you turn the key...  :lipsrsealed:

They are so right when they say, 'You are what you eat'.
Yes, I would hate to sit next to someone who has lots of beans in their diet!
But then again, beans are economical and full of goodness!

Does the MKVI GTI not sound like a Derv then? The MKV's sure do.
