Hi there im 23 have held my drivers license for 5 years but never bought a car as decided to do some traveling instead, was just wondering would i have to have a certain amount of "No Claims Bonus" to get insured on a 2000 Golf GTI 1.8 im currently getting quotes for around the £1,190 mark (they are with Elephant & Admiral & Diamond)
Very new to all this stuff so apologize if that question came of as stupid..

No you dont but obviously the more you have the more money you save
Your quote given your age and lack of no claims is cheap!!

Ah thanks for answering wasn't sure.
And yes a few people have told me the insurance quotes ive been getting are very cheap i noticed them 3 insurance companies (i quoted in my previous post were cheap), then the priced jumped to just over £3,000 with other companies.. Heard that elephant & admiral aren't the best companies to go with but don't fancy paying over 3grand at the moment..

Can't it says you have to have at-least 1 no years claim bonus for greenlight, Think im gonna go with admiral and hope for the best! ill no doubt make a thread once i've picked the car up.
