Avoid the Black Rubin aka purple, it's a dire colour only popular with lease cars who don't want to pay a bit extra to upgrade. Sell whatever you need to find the extra £500 for metallic or even less for the excellent Pure White.

PP not essential either. Nice for sure but not worth the extra for me as it's my wife's car.

I'm still looking - priced up at broker these options

Broker 4cars

Standard gti

£24045- with big alloys
£24568- with dsg

Performance

£24525- vanilla
£25400 - vanilla dsg

Golf R

£26164- vanilla
£27416 - vanilla dsg

Possibly stretch to manual r but not the dsg . No idea what to do as like the power of r, but prefer seats in gti
