Diamond-cut wheel refurb near Cambridge

Anyone know one? Not only is the finish on my wheels completely f**ked but I also have one that is losing air every few days (some of you may recall my thread from about a year ago, and yes, I never got it fixed) so I'm assuming there's a crack somewhere or something. It's not the tyre as that's been replaced and it's still doing it.

How long do these things take, as well?

EDIT: I should clarify, it's easy enough to find places. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend one that is good

Whats the going rate for diamond wheel refurbs nowadays?

Depends on where you go, I think I paid £250 ish at Lepsons for 2 wheels. They are better than the originals so should have got all 4 done.

Yes, £120 - £130 per wheel seems to be the going rate; also the cost of refurbishing a 19” alloy is usually higher than for an 18” alloy, and diamond cut is more expensive than painted / powder coated.

A few years ago, alloy wheel refurbishers such as Lepsons used to publish their prices on their website but they don’t seem to do this anymore. When they did, from memory their prices were net of VAT, and they also charged extra to remove and refit tyres. So, for anyone looking to get their alloys refurbished, always check what the quoted price does or doesn’t include if it’s not clear from the quote.

Going off the prices here, seeing as I'll need at least three wheels done, and this is just to tidy it up so I can potentially sell the car, would I be better off just ordering a set of replicas from somewhere like CM Wheels?

Or instead, list it with the known problems and knock £500 off the price?
