washed, had a piss.
Fry up & tea
Got the tool box
Stepped outside
Opened the bonnet
Starts to rain
Fook it went back inside

Half fitted Polo GTi gear knob this morning, then went to the seaside for a fry-up.  Chucked it down, so come home with the intention of finish fitting it..... or shall I go back down the coast and play some more arcades?

Half fitted Polo GTi gear knob this morning,

How to you "half fit"  a gear knob? it screws on.

It doesn't screw on mate, its fitted on a collar with a pressed steel clamp over it, that I've got to somehow wrench or cut off.  I released all the trim and transferred the mounting plate to the Polo one ready to remove the old one from the lever stick.  It'll be re-fitted with a small jubilee clip over the collar.
