Hi all, just found you guys via a link from another VW site, have just bought the car after a Renault Clio Trophy as I needed a more practical (but still fun to drive) car.
The missus loves the Golf too, which makes for an easier life!
Will use the search function but if anyone can shorten my search time the only issue I currently have is with the inbuilt VW phone system.
Have the dash mounted car kit (factory fit one) but as I suspect others have mentioned the list of phones is a bit limited and I am wondering about changing it to a bluetooth system.
Can I use a large part of the wiring which is already installed to save me rewiring everything, and will I have marks in the dash when I remove the handset holder. Or is the smart way to change the cradle and make sure the missus and I have the same handset?
