Was that just done with a pressure washer or did you add a polish afterwards?

Just snow foamed, pressure washed, normal 2 bucket wash, then towel dried.  No polish, sealant or wax, except for a bit of metal polish on tailpipes

Cheers Neil.

I dried it off with my new WOWO drying towel today, and also used the microfibre cloths earlier in the week on the interior.  Very impressed with both, particularly the towel.  Was shocked at just how absorbent it was and, although not as big as some of my others, it's actually a much better size, less risk of it dragging on the ground when drying off the lower panels. I may be ordering a couple more soon

Only thing was I forgot it's not colour fast and my dad (parents visiting for Christmas) now has some pretty pink hankies

As I'm one of the poor halogen bunch I fitted some new Philips Xtreme Vision Plus 130 in the dipped beam to hopefully help a bit with the night driving that inevitably you end up doing more of this time of year. Been meaning to switch the bulbs for ages after deciding that an OEM xenon retrofit is just not feasible .

Hello Rebecca, I noticed you washed your car in direct sunlight ! I always have difficulties with water marks even when the weather is cold. In the pictures are you using some kind of water filter system to prevent this?

Hi Peter

Yes unfortunately on my driveway, when the sun's out, one side of the car is always in direct sunlight.  So it's an ongoing battle against water marks, even in winter, and the water here is very hard.  I try to minimise them by washing and rinsing the sunny side of the car last and drying it off first and immediately after final rinse.  Seems to keep the worst at bay, but still get a few water marks and as they can etch into the paint are very difficult to get rid of, even with polishing.

I have long thought about getting a water filtration system but somehow still haven't got round to it  :undecided:

I'll probably buy this refillable filter (in the not too distant future)  http://www.raceglaze.co.uk/race-glaze/400-litre-0ppm-car-washing-filter/

And perhaps this too  http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/metro-vac-air-force-blaster/prod_992.html

Another thing on my wish list for the interior   http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/metro-vac-vac-n-blo-500/prod_1135.html

Or if money were no object, these
