Not my Mk8, someone else's. Saw a Mk8 R for the first time today, in some pearlescent violet purple shade of paint and fitted with Estoril wheels. Looked immense to be fair

This morning I’ve left my car at Beale VW in Chelmsford for another look at the many faults (mostly the bloody SOS issue). I’ve informed them that if it doesn’t come back with the latest software 1810 I believe, they can keep the car. On a positive note they did lend me a new Polo, which was nice.

I've not seen 1810 in the UK.... so you might be hunting autotrader later...

Finally a full detail with the new wheels on I swapped with Acegadget on here. Very happy think it looks pretty pretty good. Black would not have been the colour I would have chosen if I had the option when I bought it, but really happy I have this colour now.
Current car: Manual MK8 GTI 245, Deep black pearl.
Ordered: DSG MK8 Clubsport, DCC, Pure white.

Agree.

@Boothy, the wheels look ace  and IMHO much better than any of the VW OEM choices.

Not today but last Saturday, I sold my clubsport. I wasn’t enjoying drive it and I didn’t lose any money. Now I’ve got a boring A3 diesel with no finance.

Tell us some more. How long did you have it? Why were you not enjoying it?
