DPF to Turbo joint blown
« on: 11 January 2020, 15:08 »
Hello All,
I have smoke coming from under the bonnet after high speed run with the usual fan overrun.  From what I can see the joint between the blower and the DPF has blown. The car is on 92K so it's dome well.  I'm guessing this is straightforward enough but any advice gratefully received,
Thanks in advance

replace the gasket along with the clamp, and don't force the gasket in with your thumb its bloody sharp!

Thanks for reply. Had a quick go at this but couldn't easily spring the joint apart. When the weather improves I'll get underneath to see if there are any DPF fixings I can ease off so I can get some movement to get the gasket out.
