I guess the fluctuating idle would suggest a vacuum leak somewhere...?

How's the seal on the diverter valve?

You need a vw gekko login to tamper with the lane assist. Not happening any time soon...

Thank you for taking the time to write this up Exonian your reports of of value.
When I first got my Mk7.5 I dreaded the start/stop but I've actually grown to think it's excellent particularly at lights when it shuts off and having the radar it starts up when the car in front pulls forward so if you're not concentrating it gets your attention and I actually think I'd miss it now. Now lane assist that's a different matter I don't currently have it and am not looking forward to it, hopefully there will be a way of disabling it via the port by the time my MK8 arrives.

Thanks for the reply. It's booked in at my local indy tomorrow so will hopefully find out the issue after a scan. Car is completely standard.

The standards look ok the more and more I see them but the demo car did look like they could do with some spacing.

I’d be keen to hear if anyone is spacing them out, also the standard R 18” R wheels look much better. Shame they weren’t an option.

I chose 18s purely for potholes and tyre prices also the 19s would need DCC which all adds up. On Friday night I hit a hole in my 7.5 match and dented the wheel and punctured the sidewall. That’s Northumberland for you, were have roads at home in Africa  I said to the wife that’s the reason I don’t want 19s and I need to remember that and not change the order.

Nice, got the manifold cover on mine and it really finishes off the engine bay. And mine is red too!

It's strange they didn't add it to your Clubsport, I was hmming and Ha'ing over whether to buy the cover or not, glad I did though helps tidy it up.

Nothing too exciting just a wash after some fishing. Funny that the camera can't actually capture the actual shine of it, it looks dull!

I do indeed have an Android phone so Android Auto will be the thing for me to try rather than Apple Car Play which may work for others.
