Title: Norfolk newly

Hi All,

Just a quick hello from darkest Norfolk. Been given, yes that lucky, a mk5 gti in pretty good order that seems to need a few jobs doing. Had the air con recharged today, got it booked in for a thermostat next week and will need to give the body and interior a damn good clean and polish but otherwise all seems great. Need to change the ten bob Ebay head unit that won't switch off so will be seeking advice from the ICE heads on here. Hope to be more of a help than a hinderance, time will tell!

Hi and welcome.

Mk5 was a fine car in its day, and still holds up pretty well today if its in good order.

thanks for the welcome, yes it's in fine fettle and by far the fastest car I've owned :laugh:
