Hi All,

My name is Dan, I'm brand new to the forum (obviously!!) been lurking a while.. Although a VAG fan and user for many years, I have my first Golf GTI (Mk8) on order and due any day/week/month now - it's been delayed quite a bit as ordered in November!

Currently have a 2017 VW Passat GT 2.0l diesel (190hp) which has been great for chewing up the miles, but wanted something that was going to be fun..

Just thought I'd add a hello here too.

I suspect your car is delayed because of the manual box.... they did say those would be some time before they shipped to the UK.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Mk8 with a manual box, sounds good to me even though I expect you'll be in a minority.

So you are waiting 4 months for the car to arrive?
Hopefully you receive it soon.
