Hi guys. This is my first post although i've been a browser for a while. Cracking site!
I just got a MK3 16v golf with almost complete vw service history. However, i'm not able to ascertain whether the cambelt has been changed. Last Vw service was at 78,000m and car has now done 102,000. last three services was at independents. i bought it from a dealer and am not able to trace previous owner.
I always change the cambelt as a precaution and i'd be grateful for any suggestions as to decent vw specialists in the East london area. The very nice lady at Abridge VW Loughton quoted me ?350! I said i'd think about it!!!
