I have found a limited edition mk1 cabby (Christmas Cabriolet) and its actually in my price rang  :grin: :grin: :grin:

I was wondering if anyone knows any info about this model, I have found a bit of info but not much.

go on to www.vwgolfmk1.org and its all explained there and it will also tell you what to look for with regards problems,
DO NOT be afraid to walk away, if you get an iffy mk1 it can cost 000s to put right,
go by the buyers guide on there and you wont go wrong  :wink:
oh and btw if you do get one youll be joining the coolest mark of all  :wink:

The roof will have the CC logo on it if it's original. If it's a tatty roof and you need to replace it then you're unlikely to find one with the CC logo.

Hi Vicky i just brought one too, as per my newbie thread it needs a lil tlc but hopefully not too much.I need some seat covers for drivers seat and its a lil tatty but otherwise sound as.Drop me a line if u got it maybe we can share sources parts etc. they are very rare
