New Seats

Just looking at some new seats for my mark 1 cabrio...

Does anyone know if the rear seats out of either the mk3 or 4 \ 5 will fit?

I presume the fronts will be ok?

A bit more work than you may imagine. I think mk3 and mk4 seats are not the same set up with the runners underneath so quite a bit of fiddling to fit them. I would have thought the rear bench would be far too wide as well.

You can fit Corrado front seats and the rear bench with a bit of work.

Easiest by far would be too get a late mk1 interior. A nice Recaro Sportsline set :) someone is selling some on performancevwmag.com classifieds at the mo'

I've got to agree with JV, the sportsline interior in very nice - Recaros front, and matching rears and door cards make it look very sporty indeed. - not that I'm biased ;)
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

Have you got a pic of those recaro sportlines?

I was thinking of just getting a spare set like mine, but in bad condition and having them and the doorcards leathered. Or maybe just leather mine?(seems a shame tho cos mine are in mint condition, i just dont like the colour!) Then put central locking and leccy windows in at same time.
