I see Renault is also holding a meeting to discuss its future plans today, could be interesting if they do quit as well

nothing forthcoming from the meeting  :undecided:

Renault have some big ECO thing going on today so maybe we'll get word then or tomorrow. I think it's 50/50 which way it could go. They seem commited with having signed Kubica and are still set to supply RBR with engines next year, but then Toyota looked fully commited as well as they were one of the teams pushing for NO budget constraints.

The car in front never was a Toyota

Toyota auditors, preparing for the closure of the F1 team, have found a huge, almost completely empty room at the squad’s Cologne HQ.

There was puzzlement as to what it was for, before they realised it was the trophy cabinet.

Well it seems likely that Renault will run next year but that it'll be their final season in F1 for the foreseable future.

Bernie has also told Silverstone they have 48hrs to sign up or it's all off.

What a shambles.

I fear so. Apparently last weekend when asked what Silverstone needed to do to get the GP he replied "Go out and buy a pen". Nice!

Why can't the Government interveen and help out with a sport we are cleary very good at, rather investing in football and other sports we never win at?
