Apparently they have now bought the rights to use the name (where as they didn't when they announced it a few months back). So I have heard anyway...

They should put an F1 engine into a Caterham 7 and race that. Then we could all have a laugh!

Imagine the wings on a caterham to keep it glued to the road with all that power. It'd look like some kind of mug tree!

Just the name plus the factory will based in Norfolk.

Iv just had a read on the beeb, apparently they have bought the rights to the name "Team Lotus". They will start off in Norfolk but are heading over to Malaysia once everything is up and running.

Going to be using a Cossie engine aswell.

They ran one last year aswell before replacing it with a Toyota this year, I can see Toyota making a run for it if Im honest.

Meh, that's in the Sun but not any of the F1 sites so I suspect it's just hot air.

I don't see Toyota sticking around much longer also what will happen with Renault, if they are banned then Red Bull need engines so still a lot to be sorted yet.

Didn't they say something last weekend about Red Bull possibly using Mercedes Engines if Renualt pull out? But then there would be a bit of a furore because of Mercedes stake in McLaren and Braun?
