I've heard of the 2 bucket method but not 3

What sort of budget do you want to work too? I'll list some products and then you can tell me if they are too cheap or expensive.

Wash

Shampoo - Dodo Juice Born to be Mild - £8.95 for 250ml or £16.95 for 500ml
Mitt - Dodo Juice Tribble Mitt - £8.95 or Meg's Lambswool for £9.95
Drying Towel - Waxamomo Deep Pile Towel - £10.95

Polish - Dodo Juice Lime Prime - £12.95 for 250ml or Poorboy's Professional Polish £13.95 (how bad does it need a polish?)
Applicator - Lake Country Polish Hand Applicator - £3.95

Wax - Depends on budget, any Dodo, Collinite, Meg's or Chemical Guys

I can add more products like glass clean, wheel cleaner, interior cleaner, dressings etc etc if you really want me too

Let me know what you think and I will adjust the list for you.

Chris

i never new there was such a selection!! i thought a bucket with some hot fairy was fine

Well... not really sure tbh.. this stuff would last a long time!!

my car could do with a mop which a friend will do as there as a few swirls..

it doesnt badly need a polish but with it being red i want them gleeeeeming!!

and whats the wax for?! :D

as for interior all i would need is... glass, and dash shine? :D

and wheel's.. there getting a refurb soon.. so will need to keep them looking good!!

budget about...  :lipsrsealed: £60-70?

If we go with £60-£70 then:

Born to be Mild 250ml - £8.95
Tribble Mitt - £8.95
Drying Towel - £10.95
Lime Prime 250ml - £12.95
Meguiar's No. 16 Wax - £11.95
Meguiar's Foam Applicators - £3.95
Meguiar's Interior Detailer - £6.95

A couple of Microfibres and that should be you sorted, just haven't added a wheel cleaner in there.

And, if you wait until tomorrow night/the weekend.......there could be a big sale starting

YES in a word, but if your mate is going to machine polish the car for you, he should be claying it first anyway. Clay is well worth having though, you will be amazed with the results.
