Nothing much to report after 6 months and 2nd mk7, washed after weeks of neglect and went for a mtb ride

Of all the parts on the car I don't mind, the upsweep red in the headlights was a design too far, but works better on red and white imo.

Replaced my perished tailgate badge drain tube, the tailgate trims are a bit of a bugger to get off as you think your gonna break something.

Anyway, all done, straightforward enough.

Drain Tube part number - 510 827 861A

Ordered mine, should be here soon. If you were to do this again is there a part of the process you may do differently.? There are 2 bottom panels, left and right. Would you pull these first?
Cheers.

Checked mine the other day as the one on my MK7 had failed in less time than I've had my 7.5 but it's all good. Feels more robust too, perhaps the part has been improved?

Pull off the trim along the top of the rear window first, then pull the 2 sides off starting from the top edge, then the main panel.

They need a good firm pull, the main panel you can remove the rear light access panels and help support the clips in there whilst your pulling.

10 clips on the main panel -

Did you notice any difference Will? Did you decide the Toe specifications or did they advise? I am amazed at how wide the factory specifications are!

I had my car set up a few weeks ago and I am running 0.1 degree of Toe at the front and 0.12 at the rear, which was his recommended baseline set up. Rear camber is virtually identical to yours at 1.55.

I am curious on the how the dynamics would change if the front and rear Toe was reduced, so hence the above question.
