Very useful, especially as I need to remove the driver side door insides so I can fut my new blue alarm LED thingy.

New black door handle kit arrived today, yay!  Top marks to vwspeed for prompt delivery!!

Will try fitting them at the weekend.  Have the existing handles a damn good pull, but they won't budge

flat head screwdriver at the bottom and lever up    don't worry about breaking them seeing as you're replacing them

So I've fitted all the new handles except the drivers one.  I got it off, but it looks as if there's a wood effect piece that goes on the back of the handle as it were, see the picture.  The new kit doesn't come with this piece, and if I use the old bit the wood is visible
