GTE purchase... hello!

Back in a Golf! This time a GTE. I loved my previous Mk5 GTi so after a brief spell in an M3, here we are again.

Immediate job list:
Front tyres, probs Goodyear Eagle F1 As5
Address no less than 26 ECU faults (runs fine!)
Battery for spare keyfob
Service by me or full inspection at main dealer
Try to get service paperwork from Stuttgart main dealer for the stamps in the book
A proper clean, polish and wax

Interesting choice. Seems to be rocking GTD alloys..

Not many on here with a GTE, would be good to see how it goes.

I didn't realise the alloys might be GTD specific.  I saw 5 GTEs here in Madrid, 4 were originally from Germany or the Netherlands, and 2 of them had these 18s rather than 17s alloys.  It was a key selling feature if I'm honest!

I've only used the electric mode so far for short trips in the city.  I love it.  84km from two charges at about EUR2.50 each.  More to come on that once I've got some more charging under the belt and used GTE mode a bit.   

One thing ticked off the job list today. A new battery in the key fob. I used this vid so only right I try to pass it on.
