GTI Figures on Parkers
« on: 14 August 2013, 13:14 »
this may be nothing but i've just noticed that parkers have revised their 0-60 times to 6.3 for the normal gti and 6.2 for the performance pack. have VW revised their figures or are parkers just making up their own figures?

I would imagine they've got their figures wrong, however the times stated are more in line with what you'll actually get tbh.

Quoted times have many variables e.g wind direction but in the past GTI times have been beaten.

I wish their estimated build times would be beaten.

 Me too!  Have to say, I know my car could be built anytime this week but I'm still hacked off that others have gone into transit and mine hasn't

Or next week according to the VW UK lasses. How long is a piece of string?

Are the figures for 0-60mph or 0-62mph (100kmh)? There might be an tenth difference between the two?

That's the real reason, good shout Jimble - they are indeed 0-60 times!
