Title: Ignition Barrel Removal..

Hi All, Does anyone happen to know how to remove ignition barrel from steering shaft on mk3 cabrio? got shear bolt out and stripped down stalks etc.. looks like a splined retainer shaft and a spring. I think the ignition unit is defective as it wont start unless the connection on the back is wobbled. Any help appreciated. Cheerz
