This should help Simon. I've put in brackets what I'll use them for, I'm sorry if half of it is obvious.

Detailing Clay
Meguiar's Smooth Surafce Clay Kit (Removes contaminants etc from the paint, gives the car a great base to apply the polish and wax etc)

Washing
Dodo Juice Born to be Mild (Straight forward car wash, good thing is this wont strip the wax off underneath)
Meguires Bucket with grit guard (bucket and grit guard, dono what else to say  lol)
Dodo Juice Wookie Wash Mitt (Best wash mit there is apparently)
Chemical Guy's Miracle Dryer (Soft as a baby's bum, wont scratch the paintwork and very very absorbant, one side of the dryer can buff too)

Polish
Dodo Juice Blue Roo Applicator (Puts on the polish  lol)
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite (Polish)
Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Microfibre Buffing Cloth (Great cloth for buffing)

Wax
Dodo Juice Supernatural - Plastic (The wax)
Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Plush Microfibre (For buffing and/or removing wax)
Dodo Juice Finger Mitt Wax Applicator (wax applicator)

Quick Wax Detailing
Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical (Goes on top of the wax, brings the finish back to a nice wet glossy shine without having to re-wax the car)

Glass Cleaner
Meguiars NXT Generation Glass Cleaner (Glass cleaner)
Dodo Juice - "Mint Merkin" Waffle Weave Glass Towel (Glass towel, better having a glass towel as it is designed to get rid of more contaminents etc)

Tyres
Meguiar's Tyre Dressing Applicator Pad (Pad to put on the gel)
Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel (The gel, this stuff prevents streaks, drips/runs etc)
Meguiar's Versa-Angle Wheel Face Brush (cleaning brush)

Alloys
Dodo Juice Mellow Yellow Spray (cleaner)
Dodo Juice Captain Crevice Wheel Mitt (cleaning mitt, it lets you get into all the little bits that a brush cant)
Dodo Juice Supernatural Fine Cut Metal Polish Kit (to polish the alloys, also comes with an applicator cloth)
Jetseal 109 (Protection for the alloys, this stuff is the dogs danglies)

Exhaust
Will just use some of the Dodo Juice (polish for the exhausts)

Interior
Dodo Juice Pink Interior Mitt (for applying and buffing)
Meguiar's Quik Detailer Interior (cleaner/restorer/protector for everything in the interior)

Accessories
Meguiar's Boot Organiser (somewhere to keep everything)

Leather
Poorboy's Leather Stuff (leather cleaner/conditioner - apply by hand)

I think thats everything and I think I'm correct in my explanations albeit, very basic explanations.

you will find the megs tyre gel very hard to apply with the foam applicators due to its glooopyness
Honestly don't find it a hassle using the megs applicator - it makes it fantastically easy to apply to the tyres, especially if you don't stick too much on the foam to begin with!

you dont have to have everything on that list but each item kevs got is to clean/polish/seal/wax etc, theres no product on that list that wouldnt have a job to do on a car.
plus thats quite a small list
you will find that products behave differently on each car due to there different paint and clearcote finishs, i have lots of various compounds/polishes,glazes,sealants and waxs dressings etc etc
