A Few Questions

hi all as a newbie ive got sum questions id like 2 ask,

1. i understand it is possible 2 fit a mk3 golf dash to a mk2 golf. the golf in question is a mk2 8v gti on a F plate. wot will i need from the mk3 golf? the hazard switch on the mk2 is a switch in the middle above the heater vents. how difficult is the wiring? do any mounting brackets or nethin need changing?

2. wot seats can be retro fitted from the newer golfs eg. mk3+4 to the above mk2? how difficult are they 2 fit?

3. im wantin 2 make mdf door cards wot thickness do u recommend?

4. my mate has a boot opening motor but it sticks out past the interior boot panel is this normal or is there a motor that can be made/bought that fits inside the interior panel?

Hi,

1. it is possible to put a mk3 dash in (as is a Corrado, TT, Lupo etc) but far from easy. Involves a fair bit of chopping about but hey it's a challenge.

2. Corrado front and rears go in a mk2 ok but mk3+4 will need the subframes modifying.

3. not sure mate...

4. don't get quite what you mean...
