Ahem....Didnt you tell me it was an atmospheric system and you couldnt afford a stand alone fuel management to incorporate a dump valve?

it would be a closed loop diverter valve.. which are generally silent on standard cars. Looking at his intake though... combined with the higher boost he's running, you'd certainly get a decent dumping noise... more discreet than the subaru style blow off valves but definitely audible. Trying to find a way to make mine quieter actually.. sick of burberry cap wearers staring at me when i change gear  :-\

Meh, We all get it, Try having a bodykit on you car! They hear my exhaust rumbling and my intake whining and run into the middle of the road shouting "nice car braud!"

Ordenerally i wouldnt mind that, But its the fact that they run RIGHT where im driving and stand and point, I have about 3 seconds to stop from 40MPH before i damage the front end on one of the worthless twits.

All he needs now is a missfire kit and the car will sound mean! Every time he comes off the accelerator he wont only hear his BOV, But his exhausts fluttering as well ;)

It certainly makes a decent dumping noise.

*Just recalling Dizzie trying to scare the living daylights out of that bloke walking his dog ;D*

Neither, as tophuh said, it sounds more like the Subaru blow off but just a tad quieter 8)

Hmm, Sounds sexy.

Ok everyone, Its time to own up, Who here has read this thread and has either:

A) driven down the road making spool up noises and then doing a HISSSS everytime they change gear to find out what its like to be in dizzys car

Or

B) lies in bed and makes hissing noises as they fantisize of a DOHC, Turbo Lump being in there car

Comon, Dont be shy! Own up ;)

This has really inspired me to open up the cheque book again, and source a decent power plant for the cab!
I like the idea of sticking with an 8v but going for a bigger lump.
I reckon a TSR or Thurrock big bore would do the trick.
 ;D
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture
