On Monday I changed the original Bridgestone's for Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. First impressions: The car is definitely more comfortable. However, they are not as quiet as I had hoped over rough tarmac. One review did mention this, but I thought they had to be quieter than the Bridgestone's. Hopefully they will get quieter with some more miles :undecided:

Here are the reviews - http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Michelin/Pilot-Sport-4.htm

I doubt if you would go far wrong with any of the top tyres from those reviews.

Ended up choosing this from the very small list AC were offering......they are replacing one at their cost as the alloy was kerbed and a chink out the tyre, they are also refurbishing all 3 damaged alloys  i demanded this or the sale was not happening !

My friend owns a tyre place here and he said (knowing full well how i drive and eat tyres rapidly) that they were as good as the goodyear eagles they were also offering at £45 more than the Hankooks

Anyone had these.....seems they are fitted as standard on BMW and Mercedes so cant be bad  :undecided:
