Hi all,

I have been browsing for a few weeks and joined not so long ago!

Just thought I would say hi to all the fellow vw fans out there, this is the 1st one I have owned  :o

On a side note, how do I fot the roof cover when it is down, looks a little confusing  ???

the tournneau cover should have 2 velcro tabs at the front and 2 clips at the back.   velcro tabs stick to the underside of ur parcel shelf and the 2 clips slide thru the loops at the base of the hood.  ;)

might have to scrap all that if ur hood is electric  :-\

Nice cab, good choice of motor. When does the styling begin then? It wont stay stock for long, even the most ardent owners give in to a few mods in the end ( 'eh, Gibby?)

Very soon I think  :P

Got some new wheels on order (OZ  Superturismo) as I like multispokes, thinking of a new steering wheel, some clear front indicators, smoked backlights to start with!

On a side note, on the MFA, what temp does your oil show? Not sure if mine is too hot or not  ???

My oil temp stopped working a while back, but readings of around 100 were the norm I think.
