I wrote a previous post seeing whether my starter motor had given up the ghost and the consensus was that it had! So, I now need to find a starter motor.
Is there any chance anyone with a MK3 16v 2.0 GTI can have a look at their starter motor and let me know the code. I've seen a Bosch one on ebay which they claim is for a 16v but they can't confirm it. It has a part number of 0 001 112 027(028).
