Found some VW badge rear mud flaps and a sacrificial* rear bench base at breakers.

*The baby seat is gunna trash the Recaros!

golfgti stickers maybe coming off rear windows as looking a bit "iffy" with the baby seat now in there.....  :undecided:

You need a Recaro baby seat  :wink:

You need a Recaro baby seat  :wink:

They are mint!  I found one in matching trim too.  We needed a seat that can go up on a pram, but couldn't stretch to Recaro wheels.  We opted for Silver Cross which is pretty cool.

Took my head off, put new one back on

Cam sprocket failed resulting in the front cams not spinning



Thankfully it was just idling and engine knocked off instantly

Took head back off again and reinstalled same head with new valve and now runs again :-)

Forgot to put the chain guide in :grin: so off comes the rocker and chan cover again

Head off and on twice in 1 day and im destroyed  :cry: but today is a new day  :smiley:

Id happily spend the half hour doing that!

All back together now running very good, cleaned up valves and ports made it healthier again  :evil:

Just got to wait for the tappets to fill back up as they got drained

Replaced air filter and pollen filter but still got a funny smell.
