gave him a wash to get rid of all the polish residue left on him after being in the paint shop,as you can see by road and path it started raining so took pic from kitchen,whole front end repainted and rear bumper inc valance much happier now with bodywork black side repeaters from whoosh in classified section and just barely see the checky roof its anthracite squares on the sides kind of diamondy also had rear beam bushes done,still got dogbone mount to do,rear wiper to reinstall with mk5 aero arm/blade and boost gauge still to fit but its getting there

Havent had my mk2 long, and the weather is shocking here today  , but yesterday I sorted out the exhaust blow, discovered my n/s/f rim is buckled, and started to go through the wiring, as there are a few loose connections that need sorting. Also went through one of the boxes of spares that came with it and found and fitted the missing drivers window winder handle, complete with cover and screw, and the missing mirror knob and bellows from the passengers door. Also robbed the gearstick gaiter and an exhaust hanger from the scrap mk3 at the top of my drive for it. Minor victories really but it all adds up
